ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will involve supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring residents’ wellbeing, noting any changes affecting care plans, and updating records accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans monthly.
* Supporting residents with medication needs.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
* Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated as needed.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability in all you do.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
* Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to a range of responsibilities.
