As an Assistant Investigator you will work as part of a team who will utilise a range of investigative processes to ensure effective response to an investigation of building safety related issues that fall under the remit of the Building Act and the Building Safety Act .
You will consider victims and assist in carrying out criminal prosecutions in line with the Acts. You will be expected to use your own initiatives with support and direction from colleagues.
You will be supporting investigations from their arrival into the unit through to their conclusion. This will include, but will not be limited to triaging and processing information coming into BSR, gathering and collating evidence and intelligence and assisting with the production of reports. Your work would contribute to ensuring decisions regarding the outcome of the investigations are in line with BSR’s Enforcement Policy Statement (EPS).
This is an exciting time to join BSR and as part of this team will be responsible for helping to shape a new culture of building safety in your community today and for the future.
