Senior Estimator – Birmingham + Remote – Reputable Building Contractor
Student Accommodation and PRS projects.
COMPANY:
Interesting vacancy for a Senior Estimator, opportunity to play a key role for a growing reputable building main contractor.
Ideal opportunity for an already experienced Senior Estimator or an intermediate level Estimator who is ready for promotion to Senior.
ROLE:
Populating your cost plan to support development appraisals, design solutions, validation of designs and benchmarking.
Working on a variety of tendering forms, whilst identifying opportunities to add value throughout the project process.
Fully engaging with the pre-construction team members will ensure you are supported both by the local Pre-Construction Manager and the wider team at Head Office.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this Senior Estimator role you must meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge of Building Sector.
- Previous employment as a Estimator, Senior Estimator or Cost Planner.
- Previous experience in building sector projects such as Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Apartment Blocks, Student Accommodation, Hotels, MOJ, Industrial or Education.
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
-Experience in cost planning including measurement from stage 2, 3 and 4 general arrangement drawings to produce builder’s quantities and compilation.
-Experienced in everything from tendering and development of Stage 3 and Stage 4 design information into robust sub-contract enquires for quotation to preparing financial information for settlement meetings at each Gateway stage including Financial Close/Contract Sum
