Job Description
NES Fircroft are supporting a key Oil & Gas client with a ROV Support Engineer role for a long term contract role in Aberdeen.
Within the role, you will provide technical and operational support for all ROV systems, to ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with our clients' policy.
This will be an initial 12 month PAYE contract, working 37.5 hrs per week and after initial training, you will be working on a 3/2 hybrid shift pattern.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out support activities related to loading out of ROV systems, checking and preparing workshop spares, preparing inventories, carrying out system pre-mob checks
* Co-ordinate re-certification activities for the ROV systems and spare parts shipments to ROV systems offshore
* Process received offshore MRs and assist with expediting as required, including clarification on part queries
* Monitor receipt of ROV maintenance and technical reports, and review/action any issues identified
* Ensure all ROV critical spares checks are conducted and that shortfalls are actioned in a timely manner
* Process and follow up actions related to Damage/Malfunction/Failure (DMF) reports that are received from the ROV systems
