4M Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to work for a rewarding Charity who provide practical help and personalised support through their education, housing, justice and health and wellbeing services. 35 hours per week Monday- Friday 9am - 5pm Home working between property and office visits Full driving license and car owner essential (mileage claimable) £18.60 per hour via Umbrella Company This role will support service users across properties who are vulnerable children and adult service users including those with substance misuse, homeless background, asylum seekers, those involved with the criminal justice system and others with housing related support needs based in charity properties in the Sunderland and South Tyneside area This role will be providing support for service users offering a person centred support ensuring service users build confidence and independence as well as providing housing and property management solutions with the aim of achieving a successful move-on. The ideal candidate will ideally have some previous support work or housing experience in a similar sector and have a passion for supporting and helping others from vulnerable backgrounds such as mental health, substance misuse, homelessness, etc. If these roles are of interest please apply today for immediate consideration.
