Join Our Mission: SEN / SEND Tutors Needed in West Yorkshire!

We are excited to announce multiple ongoing positions for passionate tutors ready to make a difference!

At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND). Our focus extends to those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD). This role is perfect for qualified SEN/SEND teachers eager to engage in 1:1 tutoring, using creative and trauma-informed methods to enhance the educational journeys of our students.

Your Role as a SEN / SEND Tutor:

* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with various educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools, addressing their educational and social-emotional challenges.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.


Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and execute tailored teaching sessions that meet the unique needs of each student.
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that foster educational and social-emotional growth.
* Document lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.


What We’re Looking For:

* Qualifications: Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, particularly with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
* Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding processes is essential.
* DBS Check: Enhanced DBS required (we can assist with this).
* References: Two professional references needed.
* Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

It’s crucial that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.


Employment Details:

* This position is structured as a Worker engagement for short-term assignments.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* We do not guarantee a set amount of work or cover expenses.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
