Director of Assets, Permanent role c.£100,000 per annum
Location: Enfield, North London (some hybrid working once settled in role)
Reporting to: Chief Executive
Our client has been providing affordable housing in North London since 1966. They manage 1,455 homes across Enfield, Barnet, Haringey and Waltham Forest, including supported living for young people and independent living housing for older residents. With a team of 63 dedicated staff, they deliver high-quality services that make a real difference in their communities.
They are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Assets to join their Senior Leadership Team. With strong leadership skills you will have the ability to inspire, motivate and empower individuals and teams across the Housing Association. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the Association and ensuring the effective management, maintenance, investment and future development of their homes.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will:
* Lead asset management, investment and contractor relationships.
* Drive high-quality, cost-effective services for residents.
* Advise the Board and CEO on strategy, risk and compliance.
* Inspire, develop and motivate a talented team.
* Champion customer engagement and continuous improvement.
You will bring to the role:
* Senior-level housing sector experience in asset/property services including development knowledge.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Proven success in strategy, contract management and service improvement.
* Financial acumen, resilience and a collaborative style.
* Knowledge and proven track record of delivering to regulatory standards.
