Position Overview:
Wayman Education is looking for a Drama teacher to work within an Ofsted Good school in Birmingham. The successful applicant will be expected to teach Drama at GCSE on a full-time basis. The Drama department is particularly successful and well-resourced, and it additionally boasts a supportive and approachable head of department. The school welcomes applications from both ECTs and experienced Drama teachers.

Experience and Qualifications:
* Drama teacher to teach Drama at GCSE
* Excellent subject knowledge
* A teaching qualification with QTS
* Legal ability to work within the UK
Specific Responsibilities:
* Lesson planning and effective delivery to meet the needs of all learners
* Assessment and recording of achievement
* Managing the classroom and resources effectively to create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment for all students
* Maintaining positive discipline and promoting the well-being and progress of students, providing guidance and advice
* Developing positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and students, maintaining effective lines of communication
Salary:
The salary will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS / UPS).
