We're representing a growing UK cargo airline that's expanding its operations team and looking for a Pre-Ops & Crewing Officer to join their busy and fast-moving environment at Head Office in Hampton Wick.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with aviation operations, crewing, or pre-ops experience who thrives on problem-solving and operational delivery. You'll be joining a professional, supportive team at a pivotal stage of growth, contributing directly to the smooth and efficient running of daily flight operations.
The Role
As Pre-Ops & Crewing Officer, you'll act as the key link between rostering and day-to-day operations, ensuring crew resources, travel, and training are coordinated efficiently and compliantly. You'll also support on-time performance, manage logistics for crew movements, and maintain communication between departments to keep everything running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage crew travel, hotel and transport logistics through third-party suppliers
* Review and process related invoices accurately and promptly
* Support on-time performance and overall operational efficiency
* Monitor pilot leave, fatigue reports, and qualification validity
* Ensure full compliance with Flight Time Limitations (FTL) and company procedures
* Collaborate with rostering, training, and operations teams to ensure alignment across schedules
* Support Duty Managers when required and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
* Promote a safety-first culture and raise issues where appropriate
About You:
You'll be a proactive and organised individual with strong communication skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure. You'll have some relevant experience in aviation operations, crewing, or pre-ops, and enjoy working in a team that values efficiency and collaboration.
You'll bring:
* Experience in Pre-Ops, Crewing, or Rostering functions
* Knowledge of Flight Time Limitations and Fatigue Risk Management (preferred)
* Familiarity with aviation management systems (LEON experience advantageous)
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving ability in fast-paced environments
The Package:
* £39,000 base salary + £2,200 shift allowance
* 33 days' annual leave (including bank holidays)
