You’ll lead operational planning, ensure compliance, manage budgets, and drive business growth.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Southampton, paying £41,700–£53,500 per year, with opportunities to progress as the company continues to grow.

As part of our expansion, we are recruiting a Senior Manager to take a key leadership role in managing logistics performance and shaping the company’s strategic direction.
Role Purpose
The Senior Manager (Logistics & Operations) will take overall responsibility for planning, coordinating, and improving the company’s delivery operations. The successful candidate will oversee daily logistics activities while contributing to long‑term business growth and operational excellence.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Lead and manage company logistics and delivery operations.
* Supervise and develop staff, ensuring consistent performance and compliance.
* Oversee scheduling, efficiency tracking, and operational KPIs.
* Manage budgets, fuel costs, and other expenditures to achieve financial targets.
* Ensure compliance with UK transport, health & safety, and employment regulations.
* Support business development and expansion planning.
* Produce management and performance reports for the Director.
Essential Criteria
* Proven experience in logistics, transport, or delivery management.
* Strong leadership and organisational ability.
* Good understanding of compliance frameworks (DVSA, H&S, data protection).
* Excellent communication, reporting and people‑management skills.
* Degree‑level qualification (or equivalent relevant experience).
Desirable Criteria
* Experience with major parcel or delivery partners (e.g. Parcel Force, DPD, Evri).
* Financial or business management experience within SMEs.
* Professional membership of a logistics or management body (e.g. CILT, APM).
