COME AND JOIN US. .. We are currently seeking an experienced, vibrant and highly organised Assistant Support Services Manager to join our Food & Beverage Support Services team. The on target earning potential for this role is £38,155 / per annum based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £33,155, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: Supporting our Back of House Manager, you’ll be leading from the front, hands on and part of the operation, taking great pride in the team achieving the highest possible standards at all times Managing a team of kitchen stewards who support our teams during day and evening services; you’ll also have responsibility for our team of night kitchen cleaners Adhering to all operating procedures, monitoring, and filing all of the required paperwork and supporting documentation; taking responsibility for the accurate completion and recording of our health and safety data Keeping your finger on the pulse of our business, seasons, events; you’ll know what’s forecast and the action your team needs to take to support this; you’ll also attend weekly BEO meetings Ensuring that all equipment and kit required by our Culinary and service teams are stored safely and securely, always avoiding damage You’ll deliver complete accuracy in the management of our cleaning equipment and stock of chemicals; ensuring consistent replenishment and that our business will never be without its essential items Liaising with our offsite contractors, you’ll ensure they fulfil their agreements for our external cleaning support, fleet vehicles and waste uplifts Completing monthly stock takes accurately and efficiently, reporting variances and lessons learned with outstanding precision Developing your team, sharing your vast knowledge, agreeing and setting objectives to support each one achieving their personal and professional potential Building strong working relationships with our teams across the estate, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making sure our service is 5 star in every way Driving our range fleet vehicles across the areas to allow you to check the food and beverage areas around the Estate Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations, playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way The kind of person we're looking for : Ideally, you’re currently operating in a similar role with an outstanding track record of success and you already hold a full driving licence Professional, and supremely organised, you’ll know exactly how to make sure our operation is slick You have a fantastic ability to prioritise for yourself and your team, you leave no stone unturned in understanding your business’ needs Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way What’s in it for you: Time to let your hair down 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) that increases with service Seasonal parties and local social events 50% discount on Food & Beverage, Country Pursuits, Spa and Hair Salon (Mon-Thurs) and the Golf Driving Range Golf Membership (with access to all 3 championship courses) for £50.00 per annum Treats in your pocket Flexi points into yourPerkbox wallet to spend as you choose.
