Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in the United Kingdom for the Head of Production and Technical Arts. The individual in this position will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of production and technical arts, providing strategic leadership and vision in these areas. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating productions, managing technical facilities and budgets, leading a team of staff and students, and ensuring all health and safety policies are adhered to. While the role requires on-campus presence in South East London, some work-from-home flexibility is available.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in production management, technical arts, and theatre design, including the use of technical equipment and stage management tools.
* Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and oversee scheduling in a production or educational environment.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and their application in performance and rehearsals.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Experience in higher education or similar training environments is desirable.
* A passion for performing arts and a commitment to fostering student development.
