Purpose of the Position/ Role Summary Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, the purpose of this role is to take proactive responsibility for the effective manufacturing and packing operations for food products in accordance with good Health and Safety and cGMP standards. Key Role Specific Requirements Complete full manufacture and filling of all batches as per batch card and production schedule Carry out all filling/ batching/ packing instructions, written departmental procedures, packing specifications and production schedule. Make sure all packaging codes correspond with relevant packing specifications. Complete start up line checks as specified, ensuring all over print is clear and legible and that containers are clean. Ensure line clearance and setups are completed in line with relevant Standard Operating Procedure. Perform in-process checks as specified at the required intervals to assure the conformity of the batch throughout the production run. To make sure that all label inserts etc. are put into appropriate containers before leaving the line unattended. Carry out all packing instructions in line with packing specifications and production schedule. Make sure all packing codes corresponds with relevant packing specifications Complete Line checks every 15-20 minutes, ensuring all print is clear and legible and containers are clean Adherence to cGMP practices Follow all record keeping procedures for Data Integrity. Complete sign/initial and date all records only for tasks which you have executed. Ensure all duties and tasks are carried out to full GMP/ GDP compliance. Complete daily/weekly/monthly cleaning as per schedules and update check sheets and records. Other Requirements Essential : 6 months of experience in factory experience in the pharmaceutical related industry or similar industry. Good understanding of both spoken and written English An understanding of compliance and production principals Ability to multitask and priorities. Self-motivation and initiative with the energy and enthusiasm to develop this role. Good interpersonal skills, building strong working with relationships with stakeholders both internal and external. Ability to work in a cross functional collaborative environment are required.
