This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in control and instrumentation within an industrial or process environment.
Key Duties:
* Carry out fault finding and rectification on electrical equipment
* Perform breakdown repairs and reactive maintenance
* Provide instrumentation support across site operations
* Diagnose and troubleshoot control and instrumentation issues
* Conduct calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in line with procedures
* Complete both planned and reactive maintenance activities
* Work on a range of industrial/process equipment including boilers, turbines, switchgear, VFDs, pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, and control systems
* Liaise effectively with internal teams and external contractors
* Support technical input for proposals and tenders where required
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Time-served apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
* HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
* 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
* Inspection & Testing (2391) certification xsngvjr
* CompEx certification (EX01EX04)
* Good IT skills
* Strong team player with the ability to meet deadlines and communicate progress effectively
