PA required in East Rudham to assist a lady for 7 hrs p/w @ £15 p/h - King's Lynn - PE31
Job Purpose:
I am a lady with disabilities caused by accidents, this includes severe nerve pain, hand use impairment, incontinence, and fibromyalgia. I am looking for a female Personal Assistant to support me with personal care and meal preparation tasks.
Location: East Rudham, PE31
Details:
As my Personal Assistant you will be required to help me with morning routines so I can get ready for the day. This would include help with washing, support with getting dressed, assistance with putting on my lymphedema socks and on Fridays a hair wash. I have African type hair and need someone who is willing to learn how to care about this hair type, although you will not be required to style my hair.
I will also need your support with preparing and making meals daily, this would consist of mainly peeling and chopping vegetables. I have difficulties to complete those tasks due to the problems with my hands.
You would be a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and respectful person. This is very important to me because my pain levels are very high and sometimes even the lightest of touches can be extremely painful.
I would also very much enjoy having conversations about different topics.

Summary terms and conditions:
· The rate of pay for this position is £15 per hour.
· Hours and times of work: 7 hours per week, usually during the work week but may include some Saturdays. To start between 08:00 -09:00. Exact timing advised in advance.
· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Moving and Handling and Personal Care.
Post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
