Your skills and experience One of the following: One of the following: A Bachelor of Social Work OR equivalent qualification. OR have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience. OR have a related qualification relevant to child and family welfare as per the mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitioners. OR hold significant cultural knowledge and experience. OR lived experience and have faced barriers to educational pathways as per the mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitioners. Click here to view job description Family Violence Mandatory Minimum Qualifications The mandatory minimum qualification policy is part of the Victorian Government’s implementation of the Royal Commission into Family Violence recommendations. This policy outlines the formal skills and knowledge required within the family violence sector to ensure we are providing support and responses that are consistently high quality and culturally appropriate to people who experience family violence. It recognises that specialist family violence practitioners are highly skilled and formalises that recognition. A self-assessment form is part of our application process for this role. Candidates wishing to join our specialist family violence workforce via an equivalent or related pathway must work towards an equivalent qualification within specified timeframes provided in the Mandatory Minimum Qualifications Policy.
