We are currently looking for a qualified technician to join our highly motivated technical team. You will be working on the prestige Lotus brand alongside other manufacturers. This job reports to Workshop Manager and has no direct reports other than occasional supervision of trainees. Your key responsibilities will be: Preparation of new vehicles in accordance with set PDI schedules for client fleets Preparation of new and used vehicles in accordance with manufactures specification Ensure warranty claims are completed in line with warranty best working practices Diagnose and rectify vehicle issues using the latest diagnostic techniques Constructive liaison with workshop team members in problem solving whilst working to deadlines Carryout servicing and repairs to all types of vehicles in line with manufactures maintenance Schedules and repair operations Train, coach and assist less experienced technicians and trainees To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you: Highly motivated with a strong focus on quality Recognised vehicle apprenticeship training Successful completion of manufacturers training courses and proven ability to apply learning in the working environment Knowledge of diagnostic equipment Ability to accurately diagnose & repair vehicles to manufacturers repair times Minimum 2 years experience within a workshop environment Full UK driving licence Positive and flexible attitude to work Good basic PC skills and ability to construct accurate reports and job card write-ups To remain flexible and willing to adapt to changing circumstances To complete work using the ‘right first time’ approach thereby protecting departmental profitability We’ve put everything in place to ensure you thrive.
