We’relooking for a motivated storeassistantto join Cancer Research UK’s trading team.You’llbe acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK.Your shop will be a place where your community gets to meet our people, understand our brand, and see some of thegreat thingswe do.

What will I be doing?
1. Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
2. Working as an integral part of the shop team to achieve ambitious sales and fundraising targets.
3. Assistingwithmaintainingshop standardsincluding visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
4. Creating relationships with your local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
5. Supporting fundraising events for your store to achieve fundraising targets.
6. Taking keyholder responsibility asrequired(training provided).
7. There will be a varied amount of manual handling and physical activityrequiredwithin the day-to-day duties of the role.
Whatare you looking for?
8. Anunderstandingof what makesgreatcustomer service.
9. Experience of working in a busy customer service environment.
10. The ability to manage your own workloadand work independently whenrequired.
11. The ability to work well in a team.
12. Excellentcommunication skills.
13. Flexibility, our retail teams cover the needs of their stores by working on a rota basis. Whilst a level of flexibility is needed to meet the needs of the business, wedon’tforget that you have a life outside of work too.
