Candidates who do not currently hold a valid FLT licence are still encouraged to apply, as full training can be provided.
As of August 2025, JELD-WEN Penrith continues to offer competitive rates of pay, with rates adjusted to reflect current standards:
* Early Shift (6am–2pm): £13.23/hour
* Late Shift (2pm–10pm): £14.02/hour
* Night Shift (10pm–6am): £15.28/hour

Your role
* Operating forklifts in a busy manufacturing environment
* Handling stock bookings, rotations and general warehouse duties
* Supplying production lines with materials and loading/unloading wagons.

* Good timekeeping is essential
* Reliability and quality consciousness
* Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Basic English communication skills.
