The role sits within a growing Electricity Distribution & EV Infrastructure division, supporting the delivery of high-quality, sustainable electric vehicle projects across the North West.
Projects include the installation of EV charging infrastructure and associated network integration works, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant delivery.
Key Responsibilities As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing operational delivery, ensuring compliance with commercial governance, risk management and contractual requirements.
You will manage Construction Manager(s) and back-office support teams, driving performance across live projects.
Responsibilities include: Managing all activities associated with EV infrastructure projects, including ICP works under NERS accreditation Overseeing staff and subcontractor performance in line with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards Acting as the primary operational contact for clients and key stakeholders Coordinating procurement, resource planning and documentation control (as-built and progress records) Leading cost and value reconciliation processes, minimising WIP and identifying margin improvement opportunities Supporting monthly CVR processes and commercial reporting Protecting the business contractually against delay and risk exposure Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring delivery against programme milestones This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the transition toward Net Zero through the delivery of critical EV and power infrastructure projects.
