About the Role
We are seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design and assurance of enterprise solutions across back-office functions, including HR, Finance, Payroll, and Procurement. You will be responsible for defining and governing integration architectures across cloud and SaaS platforms, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to business needs.
This is a highly visible, client-facing role that requires both technical expertise and consulting capability. You will provide assurance on architectural decisions, lead design authority forums, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design of solution and integration architectures across HR, Finance, Payroll, and Procurement platforms.
* Produce architectural artefacts such as solution blueprints, integration diagrams, and data models.
* Provide assurance by reviewing and challenging supplier or internal designs, ensuring alignment with best practice and enterprise standards.
* Oversee design and governance of integrations between SaaS platforms (e.g. Workday, Oracle, SAP, ServiceNow) and other enterprise systems.
* Translate strategic goals and business requirements into robust technical solutions.
* Support delivery teams with design authority input and architectural leadership.
* Engage with senior stakeholders, providing clear recommendations and guidance.
About You
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect on large-scale transformation programmes.
* Strong experience of back-office platform architecture across HR, Finance, Payroll, and/or Procurement.
* Experience designing and governing system integrations across multiple SaaS and enterprise platforms.
* Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, assurance processes, and compliance standards.
* Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills.
* Exposure to leading platforms such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or ServiceNow.
* Experience contributing to design authorities or governance boards.
* Ability to mentor and develop junior architects or technical team members.
