The Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and supportive school in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on students’ learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Help prepare teaching materials and classroom resources
Provide additional support for students with special educational needs (SEN) where required
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) are advantageous but not essential
