A high-growth, private equity-backed organisation is seeking an experienced Chief Finance Officer to join its executive leadership team at a pivotal stage of its journey.
This is a senior, board-level role with full responsibility for finance strategy, governance and performance, partnering closely with the CEO, investors and Board. The CFO will play a central role in value creation, preparing the business for a future transaction and leading all financial aspects of an eventual exit process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the group’s finance strategy in line with investor and board objectives
Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, providing commercial insight and challenge
Own budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cash management across a complex, multi-entity group
Drive financial rigour, control and scalability to support growth and value creation
Lead M&A activity, capital structuring and investor reporting
Play a lead role in preparing and executing a business sale, including due diligence and transaction support
Lead, develop and strengthen a high-performing finance leadership teamCandidate Profile
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience in a private equity-backed environment
Demonstrable track record of leading a business through a sale or exit process
Strong commercial acumen with experience operating in complex, multi-entity organisations
Credible at Board and investor level, with the gravitas to influence and challenge
