What the Job Involves As a Stock Condition Surveyor, your primary role will involve conducting Stock Condition Surveys to ensure effective management of various properties within the Royal Borough. Your responsibilities include delivering repairs and maintenance to diverse areas such as HRA dwellings, garages, and communal spaces. You will also oversee Aids and Adaptations works, conduct Health & Safety Estate Inspections, and diagnose causes and remedial actions for issues like damp and mould. This role requires you to engage in proactive communication, provide technical advice, develop team strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement within the service. Skills A recognised accreditation (RICS/CIOB) HND/HNC level building-related qualification Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatment (CSRT) Strong technical ability in housing maintenance Knowledge of Landlord statutory duties Proficient in IT software applications Valid driving license and access to a vehicle Capability to ascend ladders and access scaffolding Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and report writing skills Team player with a positive attitude
