Day-to-day of the role:
* Engage in both in-class and out-of-class interventions to foster effective participation of students in the social, behavioural, and academic processes of the school.
* Work collaboratively with the team to implement behaviour management strategies and develop relationships with students who may be vulnerable and have complex needs.
* Liaise with other agencies to ensure that student needs are fully met.
* Support the teacher in the delivery of engaging and successful lessons, contributing to a nurturing and effective learning environment.
Skills & Requirements:
* Passion for working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the students.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, staff, and external agencies.
* Innovative and creative approach to teaching and learning.
* Drive and ambition to achieve personal and professional growth.
* Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
