Hays Accountancy & Finance Belfast are recruiting for our client, a large UK-based organisation who are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join its Sales &mercial finance function. The business is going through a period of continued transformation and growth, offering a strong platform for finance professionals who enjoy driving insight and influencing senior stakeholders.
Your new role
Reporting into a senior FP&A leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and supportingmercial decision-making across the UK business. This role sits at the heart of planning, forecasting and performance insight, with high exposure to senior leadership teams.Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the production of rolling P&L forecasts, outlooks and medium-term plans
2. Ownership of the medium-term planning cycle and monthly forecasting process
3. Coordinating and managing the month-end close from amercial finance perspective
4. Producing high-quality financial analysis and presentation packs for leadership forums
5. Delivering insightfulmentary to supportmercial and operational performance
6. Drivingernance improvements across planning and forecasting processes
7. Supporting strategic initiatives through ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling
8. Working closely with shared services, finance leads and key business stakeholders
This is a highly visible role, requiring both technical strength and the ability to translateplex financial data into clear, actionable insight.
What you'll need to succeed
9. A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
10. Experienced in FP&A,mercial finance or business partnering roles
11. Strong in financial modelling, forecasting and spreadsheet analysis
12. Confident managing multiple stakeholders across finance,mercial and operational teams
13. Able to take ownership, meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs
14. A strongmunicator who can presentplex information in a clear and meaningful way
