An exciting opportunity has opened for a Finance Business Partner at a very well-established company based in Mid-Kent. This position will report directly to the Finance Manager and is an excellent opportunity for someone with an analytical mind who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
1. Primary responsibility for finance business partnering with Commercial stakeholders
2. Gaining and maintaining a deep understanding of strategic aims and operations
3. Leading monthly financial reviews with stakeholders and providing decision making
4. Partner with Finance Manager to facilitate managing and achieving the financial targets and objectives
5. Leading the finalisation of budget process to be in line with financial strategic direction of the Company
6. Coordinating with team members to initiate changes to existing financial flows and ensure standardization across the group
7. Providing analytical support & insight on Operations Performance to both Operations & Finance
8. Ensure internal and external deadlines are adhered to
9. Establish and deliver effective internal controls within the business
10. Coordinate the statutory accounting submissions and Board papers
11. Manage and comply with UK government reporting requirements and tax filing
12. Other ad-hoc duties associated with the position
The ideal candidate will:
13. Have proven experience in a similar position
14. Possess a relevant qualification (ACCA/CIMA) – Desirable
15. Have a proactive can do attitude
16. Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills
17. Not be afraid to get stuck in and take on any task at hand
