Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Commercial Property teams in the UK, renowned for deep sector knowledge and experience for any transaction, no matter how large or complex. Our multi-disciplinary, multi-office housebuilder sector covers land buying, planning and construction to site setup and plot conveyancing, and we are regarded as leading legal advisers to the residential development sector.
The sector comprises specialist development lawyers across our offices. Our housebuilder team is led by Philip Thompson, who previously worked as an in-house Legal Director at a national housebuilder.
Role Responsibilities
* We are looking for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to work with us. You will have a minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience and be excited by the opportunity to join us.
* While Housebuilder work is a focus, we provide a broad diet of work to ensure you are engaged and exposed to many facets of commercial property, working with an experienced partner group.
* Develop your technical and client management skills with access to challenging and varied work, alongside respected senior practitioners, with real opportunities for career development.
* Be involved in business development activities and help embed into client sectors while nurturing and extending existing client relationships.
* Comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* At least 1 year of post-qualification experience gained with a leading property practice.
* A strong intellect evidenced by a high level of academic achievement, with initiative, drive and excellent organisational skills.
* Genuine team player and great communicator who enjoys helping others and working collaboratively.
* Eager to learn, develop and hone skills to take advantage of career development opportunities.
