We’re looking for an Account Handler to join our Broking Operations team at Clear Group.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their insurance career to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced broking environment, supporting Account Executives, insurers, and clients to ensure policies are managed accurately and efficiently.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team where attention to detail, great service, and strong organisation really matter and where you’ll develop your knowledge across a wide range of insurance products and processes.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
* Support with renewals, new business, and mid-term adjustments
* Handle day-to-day client queries quickly and professionally
* Prepare and process policy documentation accurately and efficiently
* Support Account Executives with client servicing and insurer communication
* Maintain accurate records in line with FCA and compliance requirements
* Identify potential cross-sell or upsell opportunities and escalate where appropriate
* Help ensure smooth workflow and internal handovers across the team
What you’ll bring
You don’t need extensive experience, but you should bring:
* Some experience in insurance, customer service, or an office-based role
* Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
* Good communication skills and a client-focused mindset
* Ability to stay organised and manage multiple priorities
* A proactive, reliable approach to your work
Nice to have (but not essential)
* Progress towards Cert CII
* Familiarity with Acturis or similar systems
* Awareness of FCA-regulated environments or Consumer Duty principles
