Regional People Partner – FTC
Join City Plumbing’s Regional People team to support branch operations across Wales, Gloucestershire, the East Midlands, West Midlands and the North. You will partner with senior leaders to drive culture, engagement and high performance, ensuring a great colleague experience while delivering commercial value through coaching, talent development and people strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a coaching partnership with leaders to enable goal delivery and accelerate team performance.
* Create people plans with key stakeholder areas to deliver high-value activities.
* Build a talent map to support career development, performance requirements and recruitment needs.
* Act as a critical friend to operational and sales leaders to explore people and functional strategies focused on key outcomes.
* Provide ideas, challenge and act as a catalyst for change, embedding change with Business Behaviours as key underpins.
* Grow deep relationships into the wider People & Culture function for necessary MI and constructive feedback to central P&C teams.
* Develop understanding of D&I value for business growth and build an inclusive culture of belonging for leaders.
* Measure and evaluate key metrics to influence people strategy.
* Travel to branches 2‑3 days per week as required.
Skills and Competencies
* Multi‑site experience from retail, hospitality or merchants.
* Experience in a matrix organisation.
* Lead delivery of people projects with significant change and high cost implications.
* Experience in a delivery‑focused operational environment.
* Analyse data to deliver business insight.
* Drive appropriate outcomes in challenging/high priority ER cases.
* Drive energy to work quickly in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
* Understanding of current HR practices/trends and up‑to‑date employment law knowledge.
