Job Summary

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Patient Liaison Officer to join our friendly, supportive, and growing team at Drs Reddy & Nunn.


Position Details

Fixed‑term: 12 months, full‑time, closing date 24 June 2026. Salary: depending on experience. Reference: A1684‑26‑0001. Location: The Medical Centre, Station Avenue, Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire.


Responsibilities

* Act as the first point of contact for patient complaints, concerns, compliments and feedback.
* Monitor and analyse Friends and Family Test responses.
* Serve as Practice lead for the Patient Participation Group (PPG); organise and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, minutes and action plans.
* Monitor and manage Practice email inboxes, ensuring enquiries are responded to, actioned or sign‑posted in a timely and professional manner.
* Support the Practice in promoting a culture of openness, learning and continuous improvement.
* Coordinate Patient Participation Group activities, monitor Friends and Family Test results, maintain the Practice website and social media platforms.
* Work closely with patients, clinicians and colleagues to strengthen communication, improve patient satisfaction and support development of Practice services.


Essential Qualifications

* GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, Customer Service, Communications or equivalent.
* Experience in a customer‑facing environment.
* Proficient in handling enquiries with clear, accurate, professional and empathetic communication via written correspondence and telephone.
* Experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
* Experience with IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
* Experience organising meetings and preparing minutes.
* Website management and social media platforms.


Desirable

* Experience working in a primary care environment.
* Experience in a GP practice, NHS or healthcare setting.
