Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Community Rehab - Luton - £28-£30/hour We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to support a dynamic Community Rehabilitation Service delivering assessment and intervention in patients' homes and other care settings across Luton. This is a full-time locum opportunity offering a manageable caseload, supportive team environment, and potential for contract extension beyond the initial 3-6 months. Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist include: Providing occupational therapy assessments, treatment, and advice to patients in their own homes or community settings to promote independence and well-being. Assessing, planning, and evaluating care for a range of patients with varying needs, supporting safe discharge and improved quality of life. Developing and delivering individualised, patient-centered treatment plans, ensuring the involvement of patients and carers in goal setting and rehabilitation. Working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Managing a diverse caseload efficiently, prioritising effectively based on clinical need and service demands. Using outcome measures to track therapy progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
