Job Title: Social Worker – MASH Team

Salary: £30.57 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MASH Social Worker to join a fast-paced Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. This is a frontline role where you will screen referrals, assess risk, and help ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time. Working within tight timescales, you will collaborate with partner agencies to make informed, timely safeguarding decisions.
Responsibilities
* Screen and evaluate incoming referrals in line with safeguarding thresholds.
* Apply knowledge of thresholds to ensure appropriate and proportionate responses.
* Make timely decisions within MASH timescales in a high-pressure environment.
* Attend and contribute to strategy discussions, sharing key information to support multi‑agency decision‑making.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective service delivery.
* Maintain accurate, concise, and high‑quality written records.
* Support team functioning and contribute to a positive, solution‑focused environment.
