Be part of a fun, welcoming and inclusive team, where you can thrive and build your own career in a vibrant and exciting The role… We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Conference and Banqueting Supervisor to lead the delivery of high-quality service across our meetings, events, and banqueting functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest satisfaction, and the highest standards of service throughout all stages of events. Key Responsibilities Supervise the setup, service, and breakdown of all conferences, meetings, weddings, and banquets. Act as the main point of contact on the day of the event, ensuring client needs are met and expectations exceeded. Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and AV teams to ensure seamless event delivery. Lead and motivate the conference and banqueting team during events, ensuring clear communication and high morale. Conduct pre-event briefings, allocate tasks, and manage rotas and staff breaks effectively. Maintain a high level of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation in event spaces at all times. Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire safety, and licensing regulations. Candidate Requirements Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a hotel, events, or banqueting environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Hands-on, proactive approach and ability to remain calm under pressure. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required. A passion for delivering outstanding service and attention to detail.
