Your newpany A leading national law firm is expanding its high‑performing Motor Injury division and is seeking experienced Supervisors (Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer) to support the continued growth of its national team.

Your new role
This Motor Injury Solicitor/Supervisor role will see you: Team Leadership & Supervision:
1. Direct supervision of a team of case handlers responsible for volume pre‑litigated and litigated motor injury claims.
2. Deliver training and ongoing development in line with the team’s established induction processes.
3. Conduct performance management activities including probation reviews, interim reviews and ongoing coaching.
4. Manage absence, wellbeing,munication cascades and overall team engagement.
5. Ensure files are handled proactively, within SLAs, and to the firm’smercial and quality expectations.
6. Monitorpliance and risk issues, escalating appropriately to senior stakeholders.
7. Allocate work effectively based on capability, technical skill and profitability considerations.
8. Addressplaints and risk matters swiftly and appropriately.
Technical & Client‑Facing Work:
9. Act as a key point of contact for insurer clients, demonstrating strong technical knowledge andmercial awareness.
10. Support business development activities, including client training, marketing events, clinics and shadowing days.
11. Manage your own caseload of pre‑litigated and litigated motor injury claims, delivering against KPIs and quality measures.
12. Maintain awareness of firm strategies and contribute positively to team culture.
13. Keep technical knowledge current through training.
14. Handle confidential information in line with firm data security standards.
What you'll need to succeed
15. Qualified solicitor or CILEX with litigation qualification (Essential)
16. Experience handling personal injury, credit hire or similar motor‑related caseloads (defendant motor experience preferred).
17. Strongpliance record with client SLAs, protocols and KPIs.
18. Proven management ability with experience motivating, coaching and developing team members.
19. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and seek support where needed.
20. Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify anomalies in factual evidence.
21. Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to negotiate, engage clients and collaborate internally.
22. Personal resilience and the ability to managepeting pressures across team and personal caseloads.
23. A positive, approachable leadership style aligned to the firm’s cultural values
24. Strongmunication skills (written and verbal) and solid IT proficiency (Excel and Word)
