* Provide clear, risk-aware and commercially grounded legal advice to internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Identify and resolve title, access, consent, regulatory and planning issues affecting project viability or timelines.
* Work collaboratively with grid providers (DNOs, IDNOs, ICPs), landlords, commercial partners (including CPOs) and regulators such as National Highways.
* Ensure project delivery aligns with statutory frameworks, industry standards and emerging energy sector regulation.
* Support ESG objectives and uphold organisational values of being committed, expert and transparent.
* Maintain accurate case management records, time recording and KPI documentation.
* Support process improvements, quality initiatives and where appropriate contribute to mentoring and professional development within the team.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Lawyer (England & Wales and/or Scotland) with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
* Demonstrable experience in EV, energy or infrastructure law is essential.
* Ideally exposure to commercial property transactions, including landlord & tenant matters.
* Strong working knowledge of planning, energy regulation, land rights and grid-related issues.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
* Commercially astute with the ability to balance legal risk with operational and commercial goals.
* Confident working autonomously while collaborating effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
* Occasional UK travel required.
Benefits
* Salary £60,000–£70,000, depending on experience.
* Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, pension and life assurance.
* Employee discount platform and long-service recognition.
* 32 days annual leave (pro rata).
* Free on-site parking and genuine hybrid working flexibility.
