About the Role:
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a warm and nurturing nursery team in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 professional who is passionate about providing high-quality early years education and care.You will play a key role in supporting children’s development, creating a safe and stimulating environment, and working closely with colleagues and parents to ensure every child thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
2. Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
3. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
4. Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
5. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, secure, and inclusive
6. Promote safeguarding and follow all policies and procedures
About You:
7. Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential or working towards)
8. Knowledge of the EYFS framework
9. A genuine passion for working with young children
10. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
11. A positive, proactive, and reliable approach
12. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
