The Adult and Community Learning provision at South Staffordshire College requires a lecturer to teach non-accredited Pottery/Ceramics classes. This is a great opportunity for those wishing to work with adult learners, who would like to develop their skills in the specialist Ceramics room. Courses are delivered to 19+ learners at Lichfield Campus who would like to learn the foundations of Pottery skills, both technical and artistic, with progression to different levels for their own ambitions.

Responsibilities
* Teach non-accredited Pottery/Ceramics classes to adult learners (19+) at Lichfield Campus, covering foundations of pottery skills, both technical and artistic.
* Support learners in progressing to different levels according to their ambitions.

* The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, including barred list information, as this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
* As part of safer recruitment practices and in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), an online search will be completed for all shortlisted candidates.
* All gaps in employment will be explored, and references will be sought prior to interview wherever possible. Only completed application forms will be accepted; CVs cannot be considered.
* Safeguarding training is mandatory for all employees and will form part of induction and ongoing CPD.
