The Opportunity
Teaching Personnel is excited to partner with a progressive and inclusive primary school in Rusholme, dedicated to fostering every child’s academic, social, and emotional growth within a supportive and stimulating environment. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the team from October half term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional eager to make a meaningful impact on children’s education. As an HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across various subjects, playing a key role in lesson planning, delivering engaging content, and providing tailored support to individuals and small groups. You’ll also help cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all pupils can flourish.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the planning and delivery of lessons to promote high student engagement and progress
* Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, both inside and outside the classroom
* Assist with classroom management, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Address pupils’ pastoral and emotional needs to promote well-being
* Prepare learning resources and support assessment and progress tracking
* Deliver targeted interventions for children with additional needs
* Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and other stakeholders

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
