Designated Safeguarding Lead
Emmanuel College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced safeguarding practitioner to join the leadership team as a non-teaching Designated Safeguarding Lead. Someone who understands how to provide exceptional care and support to students and families who are vulnerable or in need of support; someone who can respond expertly and pro‑actively to concerns when they present themselves.
Qualifications
* Has experience of working with vulnerable children and young people in a school setting.
* Is strongly self‑motivated and personally resilient.
* Has experience of handling safeguarding cases.
* Has the ability to remain calm and focused in pressurised situations.
* Has strong interpersonal skills.
* Has experience of contributing to meetings with staff, students and agencies.
* Has strong administrative skills.
