About the role
Balfour Beatty is seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our Regional Civils team working on a landmark nuclear infrastructure project in Berkshire. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the UK’s most technically challenging and nationally significant programmes, supporting the safe and sustainable delivery of secure energy for the future.
What you’ll be doing
* Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring quality standards and project timelines are met
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
* Implement site health and safety regulations and monitor compliance
* Prepare and review site reports and technical documentation
* Assist in project planning, design, and project execution strategies
Who we’re looking for
You will have the following:
* A degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field) or equivalent experience
* Previous site engineering experience within the construction or infrastructure industry
* Strong knowledge of construction processes and best practices
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
