Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance (Interim) Contract Type Fixed Term Contract / Secondment Contract length 12 months Working Pattern Full time Working Hours 35 hours Salary £57,786.51 Location Options Birmingham with part of the week working from home Function Type Corporate Functions (HR, Finance, Project Management, IT, Risk and Audit) We are recruiting for an Interim Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance on a fixed term basis of 12 months, to promote high standards of information governance and ensure SRA remains compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. You will enable business resilience by embedding robust processes to safeguard business continuity. Develop the organisations use of audit and assurance tools and the three lines of defence model. You'll provide advice and support on all aspects of risk management in strategic and operational areas. Manage sustainability efforts by reviewing our environmental footprint and steering us toward Net Zero. Maintain excellence by overseeing our ISO:27001-certified Information Security Management System and ISO:14001-certified Environmental Management System in collaboration with subject matter experts. What we are looking for: Experience of managing certification and assessment against ISO standards and a good working knowledge of ISO27001 Demonstrable experience of working with external service providers and in developing 3rd party audit and assurance programmes Strong understanding of enterprise risk and in implementing risk management frameworks Ability to deliver clear and concise reports to senior stakeholders Experience of the three lines of defence model for assurance Experience of ISO:14001 Experience of ISO:22301 Useful information: There is a role profile attached at the bottom of this advert which details the full skills and experience required.
