A well-established South Yorkshire practice is looking to appoint an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal. This is a rare opportunity to join a team handling a varied caseload, with the support and mentorship of a highly experienced Litigation Partner. The firm is open to more senior candidates who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
* Boundary disputes
* Company and commercial litigation
* Debt recovery
* Inquest representation
* Judicial review
* Landlord & tenant disputes
* Probate disputes
* Professional negligence claims
* Property litigation
* TOLATA claims
Although this is a Dispute Resolution role, the practice also handles high-profile work across Family and Criminal Law, meaning occasional crossover work may be available.
What the firm is looking for
* Proven experience in civil litigation — this is not a role for someone straight from university
* Confidence in managing a caseload with minimal supervision
* A motivated and ambitious attitude
* Strong advocacy and communication skills
* A professional manner when dealing with clients and third parties, including confidently handling debt recovery calls
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good IT and case management system competence
