Multi-Skilled Engineer (Permanent) About the Role We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to ensure production targets are met by providing technical and engineering support. This role focuses on fault correction, prevention, and elimination of technical issues while enhancing equipment performance and reliability through continuous improvement techniques. The successful candidate will also be involved in installation projects and contractor management during site visits. Key Responsibilities ? Installation & Contractor Management - Oversee installation projects and manage contractors. ? Repairs & Maintenance - Maintain hatchery machinery and vehicles. ? Energy Monitoring - Utilize BMS software for energy tracking. ? Fault Finding & Re-Engineering - Ensure continuous improvement of operations. ? Preventative Maintenance - Implement schedules and complete documentation. ? Statutory Inspections - Conduct required inspections. ? Mechanical & Electrical Systems - Work across both disciplines. ? Spare Parts & Stock Control - Support inventory management. ? Callout Support - Provide emergency support across hatchery sites. ? Other Duties - Perform additional tasks as required. Skills & Experience Required Essential: ? Time/Skill-Served in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical Bias preferred). ? Strong Electrical & Mechanical aptitude. ? Proven ability to diagnose and solve problems. ? Fault-finding experience on automated machinery. ? Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings. ? Good reasoning ability. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. ? Strong time management skills. Desirable: ? Decision-making ability. ? Initiative and problem-solving mindset. ?
