ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will involve supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care. You will help create a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring residents' wellbeing, noting any changes affecting care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in person-centered care planning, including implementation, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication needs.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
* Serving as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrate a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
