We are currently expanding and looking for a Warehouse/ Admin Assistant for our Medical Device Company located in Cardiff. The ideal (but not essential) candidate would have worked in an order processing/warehouse order picking environment before.
Outline of Duties:
 * Picking order items from the warehouse based on product code, batch number, quantity, and quality requirements, ensuring that they accurately match the customer purchase order,
 * Ensure customer orders are packed efficiently,
 * Arranging collection of orders with couriers and tracking orders until they are received by the recipient,
 * Query issues with deliveries with relevant courier company (by phone and email),
 * Operate warehouse IT systems, training will be provided,
 * Regular stock replenishment and assist with the monitoring of minimum order levels so stock can be ordered proactively,
 * Effectively work with the team to ensure warehouse dispatch goals/targets are met,
 * Help couriers to load & un-load delivery vehicles and ensuring that each consignment is complete. Querying and addressing if incomplete,
 * Maintain an effective and safe warehouse system and environment,
 * Perform other general warehouse duties as needed,
 * Dealing with customers queries, by phone and email,
 * Processing customer returns,
 * Understanding customer requirements and addressing any enquiries or discrepancies that may arise efficiently and effectively,
 * Understanding of our products and services,
 * Office administration cover / support as and where required,
 * From time to time, you may be required to carry out tasks in addition to our normal duties provided they are both reasonable and within your capabilities.
Skills/Requirements:
 * Previous experience working in a warehouse environment in a similar role preferred but not essential,
 * Conscientious with excellent attention to detail – this is essential,
 * Good communication skills and telephone manner,
 * Sound organisation skills and ability to organise workload to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines,
 * Ability to work with minimal supervision with self-initiative, drive, and a positive can-do attitude,
 * Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in a warehouse environment,
 * Actively safety conscious,
 * Competent in the basic use of computers,
 * Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment and work under pressure,
 * Good customer service, ability to communicate with customers confidently and willing to go the extra mile,
 * Address any issues confidently and diplomatically,
 * Ability to work well in a small team environment,
 * Looks for continuous improvement to improve the way tasks are undertaken,
 * Reliability: good attendance and dependability.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm
