As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of examinations, providing a supportive environment for students to excel in their assessments. Exam Invigilator Job Responsibilities: Oversee the administration of exams, ensuring compliance with examination board regulations and guidelines. Set up examination venues and distribute exam papers and materials to candidates. Monitor candidates during exams to prevent cheating and maintain the integrity of the examination process. Respond promptly to any issues or incidents that may arise during exams, following established procedures. Collect completed exam papers and materials at the end of each session and ensure their secure return. Assist with the preparation and organization of exam venues, including arranging seating plans and necessary equipment. Provide support and guidance to candidates as needed, ensuring a positive exam experience for all. Exam Invigilator Job Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism. Attention to detail and accuracy in following instructions and procedures. Flexibility to work varying hours, including mornings and afternoons, during exam periods. Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
