A member of the Chestnut collection of pubs, inns and restaurants we are an award-winning inn with a delightful restaurant on the North Norfolk coast, overlooking a pretty, leafy Georgian square in the traditional seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea.
Our chefs work closely with local fishermen and butchers in Wells-next-the-Sea and around North Norfolk, taking delight in producing locally-sourced, fresh and delicious meals. The beef cattle fattened on salt marshes belonging to ancient estates and the creels of lobster and baskets of mussels and crabs brought straight up from the quay have a special, unbeatable flavour.
Job Requirements:
* Lead and inspire the FOH and BOH team to achieve high standards of service.
* Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Assistant Manager to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest satisfaction
* Leading guests through all aspects of an enjoyable restaurant/hotel experience
* Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team.
* Wet stock management within the property
* Drive financial performance by meeting and surpassing financial expectations.
* Cultivate a positive and motivated work environment, ensuring all team members perform to their best abilities.
* Report often to the operations manager
