A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Mental Health Occupational Team based in St Johns Hospital, Livingston. This role although newly developed is clearly established, focusing on delivering quality, evidence-based occupational therapy assessment and interventions. We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist who is looking to develop/or gain experience in mental health rehabilitation as part of the Mental Health Occupational Therapy Team based in St Johns Hospital, Livingston.
The role will predominately work in Pentland Court, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit that covers West Lothian, based in the grounds of St Johns Hospital and has capacity for 10 individuals. The Occupational Therapist will be expected to contribute to service improvement and role development.
West Lothian provides excellent formal and informal supervision, actively supports individual development through performance development review & learning plans and provides a framework for encouraging CPD and promotes innovative practise.
