Axcis Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Support Assistants to join our team in Oldham and Rochdale, working across both mainstream primary/secondary schools and specialist SEN settings. Role Overview In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers and pupils to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Your support may be 1:1 or in small groups, particularly with learners who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties or other special educational needs. Key Duties - Supporting individual learning and emotional development - Assisting with day-to-day class activities and routines - Promoting positive behaviour and engagement - Collaborating with teaching staff to meet pupils’ needs - Helping create a safe and encouraging learning space What We’re Looking For - A supportive and nurturing approach to working with children - Keen interest or experience in supporting pupils with SEND - Flexibility to work across key stages and adapt to different settings - A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) - School experience is beneficial, but not essential – we offer training What’s On Offer - Competitive pay, up to £104 per day depending on experience - Full access to mainstream and SEN placements - Ongoing professional development and training options - Opportunities for long-term progression in education roles INDMAN
